Tomal Cares With SG United
#SGUnited, Together We Can Overcome! As a health and wellness advocate, we place importance in coming together to respond to community needs amid the COVID-19 situation. In this spirit, Tomal has rolled out a SG United charity program of distributing 3-ply surgical masks and 70% alcohol-based hand sanitisers (500ml) to the following vulnerable groups:
- Workers in dormitories
- Low Income families
- Elderly and vulnerable
- Frontliners in the service industry
Over the past few months, Tomal has distributed:
May 2020 – 6,000 masks to 2 foreign worker dormitories
100 bottles of hand sanitisers to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Novena) staff
July 2020 – 1,000 masks to over 200 homes Happy People Helping People (HPHP) Community
60 bottles of hand sanitisers to Brighton Connection childcare centre
Tomal plans to continue our efforts to reach out to more beneficiaries. We target to distribute at least 50,000 more 3-ply surgical masks and 1,000 bottles of hand sanitisers over the period of September 2020 until January 2021. We would like to thank all volunteers involved in distributing to the respective homes and persons for ensuring that these masks and hand sanitisers were well received by those in need.
